In 1964, there emerged on the fiercely competitive New York restaurant scene a totally new concept in luxury dining. It was called Benihana of Tokyo. Benihana?s food preparation methods immediately set it apart from other restaurants, as it had no conventional kitchen.
Instead Chefs prepared and cooked entrees at a table called a ?Hibachi Grill?. Since the opening of the first Benihana, Rocky Akoi the founder has natured his theme into a successful international food chain.Benihana Piccadilly located in the heart of London?s West End has a lively and sophisticated atmosphere. The restaurant was the third to open in the U.K in September 1995 and is the largest of the three restaurants, accommodating 180 covers. Also the restaurant offers a private dining room which can accommodate up to 10 people for those seeking a more intimate atmosphere.

Excellent night out. Just be wary of the strict 15 minute booking window - by which time all of your party needs to be there, as they won't seat you otherwise and you risk losing your booking. We were caught out, but the restaurant still managed to seat us - and in the private dining room!! Excellent meal (fantastic value with the 7 courses special deal) and great entertainment. Definitely recommend.Recension
I went with my children and they enjoyed it thoroughly. I think our chef was a little less experienced but all the same he was very rhythmic. I would recommend this as a great night out for food entertainmentBesökare
