Om Bengal Delight
Bengal Delight is a simple and stylish curry house on Holbrook Lane in Coventry serving up authentic regional cuisine from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. With wooden floors, burgundy leather seats and fresh flowers, the dining room has a welcoming ambience, and the staff at Bengal Delight are are friendly and helpful. The restaurant's menu features old favourites alongside contemporary chef's specials, and popular dishes include the Chicken Chilli Massala with lemon juice, fresh garlic and chopped chillies; the Shatkora Tenga – tender lamb cooked with citrus fruit and spices; and the Sylheti Jhinga Massala – king prawns baked in the tandoor and served with yoghurt and fresh cream. Bengal Delight is popular with locals for fun get-togethers and celebrations.

Bengal delight is one of the two best indian restaurants in Cov. The menu has the widest variety I have ever seen! The starters are nicely presented and even the F-Word would be impresed! The main courses are reasonably sized and freshly prepared and very tasty. Service is friendly and efficient but this is Cov and the staff wear dark shirts and ties, no waiter outfits! The decor is modern and the tables rather sparsely laid. No glasses set out. It apeals to the 20s and 30s.

The Bengal Delight was as usual very good ! They have a new wine list and the "house red" at a touch under a tenner is a 2008 South African wine at 14% !!!Besökare
