Bartellas restaurant in Furze Hill, near Chelmsford, is a stylish and laid-back restaurant serving stunning Mediterranean cuisine. With a relaxed ambience and helpful staff, the dining room at Bartellas – with wooden floors, chic furniture, and an abundance of natural light and fresh flowers – is ideal for evening meals and lazy Sunday lunches with family and friends. The menu is filled with bold, spicy flavours, and favourite dishes include the mussels Thai-style with coconut, chilli and lemongrass; the Cajun chicken pizza with peppers and red onion; and a risotto of crayfish and courgettes. Bartellas hosts monthly cabaret tribute nights, and the restaurant's bar is ideal for pre/post dinner drinks.

We had a bithday lunch at Bartellas and were recommended by a friend, the food, service and ambiance were all excellent I would highly recommend it

Pleasant evening at Bartella's, friendly helpful staff in a big, smart venue, not very busy - but it was wednesday night, Drinks in comfortable bar area - seated in the conservatory for dinner. Not an exhaustive menu but decent food & portions. Tasty risotto - although slightly overcooked, my wife had a well presented sea bass dish that was very good. Nice selection of very fairly priced wines - also available by the glass. All in all the amiable manager and his staff made sure we will return.
