Om Barbarella
Barbarella, as its name might suggest, was big in the seventies and has been going strong ever since. You are most likely to be greeted by Bruno, an Italian Virgo oozing charm (that's a quote), who will warmly welcome you into his romantic restaurant. The very traditional Italian menu is full of favourites. Two recommendations are the veal with brandy, mushrooms and cream and the fillet steak with green peppercorns and red wine - almost the Italian national colours. The wine list favours Italians, but after dining and dancing at Barbarella, you probably will too.
Dancing every night 7:30pm until 3am.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sat 7.30pm - 3am Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.

On News Years Eve, this was a fun place. the food was good, the service great and the overall ambience just what was needed to bring in 2006.Recension
Restuarant is a bit of a 70's/80's throwback in terms of decor and food. Staff are the plus point. Friendly and humerous. Not very busy for a Saturday night, three big parties. Menu standard Italian (from 20 years ago). A small dance floor with 80's music playing. This place is great for the nostalgic or those whose too young to remember the era first time and want to experience the real thing. Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirrens characters from the "Long Good Friday" could easily have strolled in !Recension
Barbarella's was a great venue for a large group, especially as had dance floor. Food was fine, service great, music could be better - don't think much about the place has changed in 30 years. Not a romantic location but fun with a group.Besökare
