Au Pied De Cochon was the focus of our office day out for 15 in Paris. Finalising booking was a bit stressful but my fault for changing the time 3 days prior to Saturday 10th December... There was confusion about having to take a set menu. However, 1 call & Toptable sorted it & despite my linguistic shortcomings the restaurant did us proud on the day with a really accommodating attitude. Great food and ambience with prompt and entertaining service. Thanks Toptable & Au Pied De Cochon!

We arrived late due to the weather. We were seated at a small table for two although we were closely flanked by couples on either side which can be a little disconcerting! A glass of Champagne later and everyone was happy. Our main courses of squid with mushrooms and lobster ravioli were fantastic. If you struggle with French this is not a problem. English language menu and English speaking waiter who was very helpful. Lovely intimate venue for couples or small groups. Service was slow but hey?

Au Pied de Cochon is a Parisien institution which was great to try. Lovely food and great staff. They pretended not to understand when I asked for my beef "bien cuit"! I would have preferred medium but being pregnant this was not possible!

Simply the best french onion soup you will ever have - only have the pigs foot if you have a strong stomach - the staff are really friendly.

I hadn't eaten there for nearly 20 years when I took my 13-yr nephew for a late lunch. With enormous queues out the building, we walked to the front desk and said we'd booked. They tried to show us to a table upstairs but I demanded a window seat, having booked from London several weeks ago and reconfirmed. The fuits de mers were wonderful, especially the whole crab. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, the home made mayonnaise the best I can remember. It's a MUST when in Paris!

Great atmosphere with a queue outside for sunday lunch, however the service wasn't great as it was so busy. Food wise the fish is the best bet.

Arrived at the restaurant to find a huge queue, and what looked to be no more than a standard Parisian cafe/bar. But when we told them we had a reservation they ushered us straight upstairs to the very plush looking main dining area. Greeted with a reserved table and a complementary kir royal aperitif. French Onion soup was the best ever. Steak au poivre was perfect, and black pudding tart to die for. La Vie En Rose dessert refreshing and tasty, profiteroles lovely. Perfect evening 10/10!

Food was ok at the Au Pied de Cochon, menu had a large selection. My boyfriend had a beer which was 8.5 euros which i thought was a bit pricey.
