My wife and I visited Aria at the Hyatt in Birmingham and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent and personable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and ambience was relaxing. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

We dined on Friday at the Hyatt Regency's Aria restaurant. I have to say its the best night out over the Christmas and New Year period. We had the pre concert menu which had a wide variety of food. Compliments to the chef as it was delicious, and good value for money. The staff were very polite and efficient, and went out of their way to ensure my friend and I had an enjoyable evening. I would certainly recommend the Aria restaurant and can not wait to return!

Aria offers a great, value for money Sunday lunch. At £17.95 for three courses I reckon you'd be hard pushed to find better in Birmingham.

I am so sorry but I would not recommend a visit to a restaurant that is put in the lobby. We walked into the hotel and were horrified to find the position of the resturant. There was a function taking place on the floor above and they were all leaning over the balcony and talking loudly. They would have been looking down on us for the whole of the time we would have been eating. This was a xmas treat for my husband and I was very disappointed. Not my idea of an intimate meal for 2!

Aria was a disappointment. The food was good, the service was not. We ordered our food and asked for a few minutes to think about the wine. A mere minute later our starters arrived before we had ordered the wine. Not perfect timing.The plates were whisked away before one of our group had finished. The main course arrived whilst one of the party was away from the table and simply left there. To top it all our wine was corked, no apology was given and another bottle slow to arrive. Not good.

The food and service here were both very good. The atmosphere is very calm, if not a little flat, but good for a romantic meal. It all went horribly wrong just as we got out desserts when a private function in the hotel turned tis music so loud that the chairs vibrated!!! The restaurant were very apologetic, and knocked the drinks off the bill but it still ruined the atmosphere. Worth visiting, but check there are no functions on!
