If you’ve been pounding Glasgow’s favourites chances are you’ll be looking for somewhere to enjoy a glass of wine and a good meal while you review your purchases. But don’t make do with another boring chain restaurant, instead pull up a seat at the sexy, chic Amarone. The monotone surroundings create an elegantly decadent atmosphere thanks to sleek wooden floors and simply subtle furniture and dressings. Meanwhile the menu of traditional Italian dishes is gloriously moreish with creamy pasta dishes and pizzas to indulge in or delicious fish and salads for the more weight conscious. Add to this the excellent wine list that inspired the name and you’ll never fancy fast food again.
