Already a fixture on the Clerkenwell dining scene, 54 – located at 54 Farringdon Road – serves unique Malaysian and modern European cuisine in stylish surrounds. Don't confuse this with fusion though. The contemporary menu – created using free-range, organic and local produce - offers a mix of authentic Malaysian and classic western dishes, including favourites such as the chicken satay with peanut sauce; seasonal vegetarian soups; slow roast pork belly; lamb shank rendang curry and a delicious valrhona chocolate fondant for dessert. The eclectic food and super-friendly staff at 54 provide the essential elements to relax and enjoy your meal and there is an excellent and reasonably priced wine list.
Please note, 54 is located on Farringdon Road, not Farringdon Street or Farringdon Lane.

A fabulous place with great food!!

We headed to 54 at the end of a client meeting so it was important to me that a good time was had by all. I think 54 was successful in this regard. Service was prompt without being intrusive though the waitress seemed a little flustered that we were ordering from both the ala carte and set menus. Nothing stands out in particular from the food though to that end there was nothing that detrimental either! My cheesecake was somewhat bland but all else was good.Recension
I thought the food was fantastic and it came accompanied by excellent service! The gents toilets left a little to be desired but i was informed that the ladies was in tip top condition. i would strongly recommend the restaurant to anyone and with the 50% off food promotion, it is excellent value for money.Besökare
