Started by Antony Worral Thomson, 190 Queens Gate is a bustling Continental style eatery. 190 is renowned for a particularly strong line in pre-theatre food, timed to coincide with events at the neighbouring Royal Albert Hall. Head Chef Malcolm Starmer ran Richard Corrigans kitchen at Lindsay House for nearly three years, subsequently working with Gordon Ramsey and Phillip Howard. His passion is for the freshest ingredients obtainable with due emphasis on wild fish, organic meat, strictly seasonal vegetables, funghi and garden herbs. All this topped off with the irresistible puddings for which he is famous, makes 190 a destination not to be missed.
