Zafferelli is a friendly and inviting neighbourhood Italian restaurant on the New Road in Brighton. With a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere, the dining room – with wooden floors, crisp tablecloths and salmon pink walls – has a family-run vibe, and the menu has an extensive selection of traditional pizza, pastas, salads and risottos. Popular choices include the Tagliatelle Al Salmone served with smoked salmon, cream and fresh herbs; the Salsiccia e lenticchie – roasted Italian sausages served on a bed of lentils and pancetta; and the restaurant's signature Zafferelli pizza with tomato, mozzarella, mixed seafood, king prawns and mussels. Zafferelli offers a reasonably priced Italian wine list.
