About Viva Goa
Indian food is Indian food, right? Wrong! Crystal Palace’s Viva Goa is proving that food from the Subcontinent isn’t just about baltis and basmati by bringing the coastal tastes of Goa to South London. The attractively designed dining room, with stripped wood floors, neutral tones and odd quirky Indian marketplace touches from coloured glass votives to colourful art works, is atmospheric and lively – the sort of place where you’d be happy to dine time and time again. The menu offers a wide range of Indian dishes, however it’s those freshly prepared Goan specialities which really impress. You’ll be dreaming away to far off shores with every mouthful.
Opening hours:

Viva Goa’s head chef was crowned Croydon Curry Chef of the Year 2005.

Viva Goa was a great place to go for a quiet curry. Although there weren't very many customers and so it lacked a vibrant atmosphere, the staff were pleasant, the food was really tasty and it was fantastic value for money - I will definitely be going back regularly!Review
Viva Goa is a fantastic restaurant and we will definitely be going back. The food was amazing and a nice change from generic Indian. Both the food and wine were very reasonably priced and it is excellent value for money. The service was ideal, with dishes being brought and the table cleared promptly, but without fuss or having someone constantly hovering over your shoulder. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
