About Via Appia
Via Appia serves up recipes that range from foie to fresh fish of the day, meats and pastas all combined with fresh seasonal products and extra virgin olive oil. It is the only restaurant on the island serving Entrecote of Buffalo flown in regularly from Canada. Chef and Owner, Michele, comes from a long line of restaurateurs; his grandfather started cooking for distinguished personalities in Italy in 1918. Four years ago, Michele opened up Via Appia where clients can enjoy an International cuisine, with a flair of the Mediterranean (notably Sicilian). Across from the Restaurant, you will find the 'Botiga' of Via Appia, where it is possible to eat more informally and purchase wines and various fine Italian products.
