About Vasco and Piero's Pavillion
For thirty years, Vasco and Piero's Pavillion has been blending the best of traditional and modern Italian cooking and service into a seamless whole, creating a restaurant that many loyal diners consider their own very special place. It's sometimes tricky even to get through the door at lunchtime, but evenings are more relaxed and romantic. (NB for New Labourites: Gordon Brown held his engagement party here.) Try carpaccio of fresh tuna and avocado to start, and roast filet of pork with cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs. All pastas are homemade. The welcome is warm, and you may find yourself becoming a regular here, too.

From our experience I would say that Vasco and Piero's Pavillion is past its prime. It has a very limited menu and the dishes were average when they arrived. And we left still feeling hungry. We went there pre-theatre so perhaps there is a wider menu at different times, but we won't be going back to find out.Review
Vasco and Piero's provide an excellent menu, the pasta is freshly made & fantastic. Reasonably priced for the meal we had & they even threw in a free suprise course while we waited for our main (a morsel of pasta with ricotta!). Only negative point was the seating that we were given, table for 2 right next to the till. Still, being that close meant the service was excellent!Review
Excellent meal and very attentive service made for a high quality experience.Visitors
