About Truc Vert
Truc Vert restaurant in London’s sleek Mayfair almost started the restaurant-plus-deli concept. With the rustic charm of a French fisherman’s hut, honest, unpretentious Truc Vert is named for an unspoiled Gallic beach. The Medi-French menus change so frequently they’re almost spontaneous, featuring fine ingredients simply prepared that deliver vibrant flavour. Packed at lunchtime with local workers, Truc Vert goes slightly uptown in the evenings for romantic dinners with white table linens and glowing candles. Tables on the pavement are great for people-watching and you can bundle up some goodies from the deli counter before you go. Wine tasting evenings are popular too.

The atmosphere and food do make this place well worth a visit, especially when shopping on Oxford St and you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. My only advice would be that the staff could use a little more training on service.Review
Dinner for 4 at Truc Vert was excellent vaule for money. Food was well above average and the wine list, though not extensive, was good and extremely well priced. The tables are very small and closely placed and the restaurant lacks enough room for coats and bags so the whole thing felt crowded. The atmosphere was good but the service needs to be improved if last night was typical. Chaotic would be a kind adjective and two of the staff were rather surley. Prepared to give it another try though.Visitors
