About The Stroom
The Stroom is second to none in Pudsey, rivalling even the best restaurants in Leeds. Housed in the town's former eighteenth century Conservative Club, it's a grand space that successfully marries contemporary design with traditional values of good, honest food and experienced service. The original marble mosaic floor of the a la carte restaurant survives. Here, contented diners can choose from an extensive classic French/English a la carte menu with a typical dish being fillet of Yorkshire beef, pont neuf potatoes and red wine butter. Specials chalked up on a board change weekly. If you are looking for an early evening meal, the early bird menu is hard to beat.

Although quite expensive, the Stroom is an excellent evening out - the food is amazing and the extensive wine list is superb. Definitely recommended for a romantic evening with your partner/spouse.Review
The Stroom was a great find! Not far from accomodation in a pretty suburb of leeds. The food was beautifully presented and tasty, the staff attentive. We'll be back!Review
We're lucky to have the family-run Stroom on our doorstep and try to take regular advantage of the excellent service and wonderful food. From the delicious bread brought to the table while you wait for the starters to the amazing puddings, it's a great dining out experience. My only note of caution is that you may get lost on the way to and from the bathroom, which is a country mile from the main dining room. Overall there is nowhere else we'd rather eat on a Saturday night. .Visitors
