About The Stockbridge Restaurant
Up and coming chef Jason Gallagher has done a fine job in turning the former haunt of local 'celebrity' chef Juliet Lawrence Wilson into a luxurious showcase of his own exciting style of Modern European cuisine. The basement space really is a lovely little restaurant for a romantic meal or special occasion. Black-painted walls decorated with modern art work well with plush golden upholstered chairs, thick white table linen and fairy lights to create an especially intimate atmosphere. Gallagher works with fresh, seasonal ingredients so the menu often changes, but the offerings are guaranteed to be indulgent and of the kind that feel like they're a real treat to be eating. Perfect service too.
Please note - this restaurant does not accept toptable bookings on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a £3.00 corkage charge at this restaurant.
Opening hours:
Tue - Sun 7pm - 9.30pm

The Stockbridge Restaurant was the perfect place for a nice intemate meal for two. The ambience is lovely, the service is supurb and the food was quite lovely. Our dishes included red pepper soup, scallops, lamb and an aubergine & walnut gateaux. All of these were preseneted beautifully and tasted fantastic. The ladies serving us were VERY attentive hence the (10) and we would very happily go back there for another meal next time we're in Edinburgh!!Review
