About The Poacher
The Poacher looks for all the world just the kind of traditional pub you'd expect to find in a little Kent village called Tudeley. Until you step through the door. Inside is a bright, modern space that's more restaurant than pub - new blonde oak floors and furniture, white walls, contemporary art... It looks great. You can eat in the 'proper' restaurant or in the comfortable bar, where there's comfy window seats overlooking the boules court. When the sun's out, everyone wants to sit on the patio area (which has full table service). The food? Honest modern European meals that hit the spot time and again. The daily specials always feature a vegetarian dish. Lovely presentation.

Fab place off the beaten track well worth a trip!Review
Six of us went - none of us had been before and we all said we would go again, although it is a bit of a drive from Sevenoaks. In a delightful country location, very nice ambience, very good service and lovely food with an excellent choice of dishes. Also very good value and the house red we chose was very good.Review
It was our first time at the newly refurbished Poacher and the whole evening was excellent. Unrushed, the euopean staff were attentive and the food was excellent with a varied chioce. It was a weekday so not sure what a Saturday night would be like but will be going back to try it out.Visitors
