About The Plough
The Plough restaurant in Wavendon, Milton Keynes, has a fast-growing reputation in the field of fine dining. The 500-year-old building, once the Hogsty Inn and the village’s bakehouse, is a subtly glamourous space with cream walls and upholstery, elegant wooden floors and a few paintings dotted around the minimalist dining room. It’s an intimate, romantic spot for serious gastronomy. Award-winning chef Grant Hawthorne uses local produce to create the seasonally-changing menu in dishes like marinated yellowfin tuna with samphire, asparagus, picked ginger, soy sauce and plum wine. The Plough’s pre-theatre menu is a treat, and a seven-course testing menu and afternoon tea are on the way.

I would not criticise anything about our visit to The Plough. From the first impressions driving into the car park, the stylishness of the building both inside and outside and the politeness of staff through to the quality of food and wine everything was, in my opinion, excellent. I will definitely return.Review
Yet again The Plough delivered a gorgeous meal. Excellent service from the moment we picked up by the free taxi, all the way through the evening to the return trip home. Still the best venue across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.Review
The service and food was excellent. Even though there was a mix up in the time of the booking (on mothers day) the manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I would certainly go back and I would recomment this restaurant to friends.Visitors
