About The Orange Room
The Orange Room restaurant in London’s Mile End has had a face lift. Once a quirky, unpolished gem of a restaurant, The Orange Room now boasts smart, bright decoration with new posters of Arabian views. The shisha pipe has been relocated outside, of course, but it puffs on. The Orange Room is exactly what you want – friendly, delicious, generous, with all-day service that’s affordable even the day before payday. Signature Lebanese dishes include the massive list of fifty meze, lamb dishes, vegetarian choices and lovely mango lassi. Bring your own wine for a £2 corkage fee. In the cold-hearted city, The Orange Room is a haven.

Orange room had some of the best lebanese food I have had anywhere. The only problem was the ambience, we went at lunch and it was quiet on a tues. but it is opposite a park which was pretty. The orange walls and cheap chairs just brought the place down, when I walked in I almost walked out again because of the way it looked (it was for a birthday lunch) but Im glad I stayed because the food was really good! I guess, "don't judge a book by its cover!"Review
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the Orange Room. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was nice (excellent Hummus) and the background music was loud enough to provide intimacy without drowning out conversation. BYO wine meant that the meal was very good value (£40 for two) and a rice pudding on the house was a lovely touch. Well worth a visit.Review
The Orange Room is a lovely place to have a quick lunch if you're in the local area - not somewhere I would travel miles to eat. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food was lovely.Visitors
