About The Only Running Footman
The newly brushed-up and re-launched Only Running Footman in Mayfair definitely hasn’t lost any of its British roots in the process. This much-loved pub, restaurant and private event space houses elegant, yet unpretentious surroundings, complete with a truly British menu featuring home-grown produce direct from the farmers. Guests can slide up to the long mahogany bar or comfy booth seating and enjoy traditional Blighty breakfasts or old-style pub menu favourites later on. The restaurant is a bit plusher, serving stylish items like south coast fish soup with saffron and rouille and a Running Footman traditional mixed grill against a backdrop of gold velvet chairs and carpeting. For those who feel that the wine bar set have lost sight of what made Britain great, The Only Running Footman is definitely for you.

First trip to The Only Running Footman restaurant and it was a very good evening. The food was excellent, each of us enjoyed all the courses, particularly the steak (which was a bit on the expensive side though).Review
The upstairs restaurant at The Only Running Footman is a very good venue in the West End for a business lunch. The food is good, and not over-priced, service is confident and timely and the room itself is quiet, away from the hussle and bussle of the downstairs bar. Highly recommended.Review
The Only Running Footman restaurant is very new and bright. It was very busy for a Wednesday lunch time, the food was good but a bit expensive.Visitors
