About The Old Bear
The Old Bear occupies a top location at the end of Cobham High Street and is the only public house in this pretty Surrey village. Believed to have originally been a farm house, the pub's decor is very much the traditional coaching house with the low-level ceilings and lovely timber frames. There's an area for snacks and drinks - they have a broad range of draught and bottle beers, plus a strong cask ale contingent and a weekly guest ale - and a dedicated restaurant serving honest homemade seasonal soups, sandwiches and mains, such as salmon and cod fishcakes with spinach, poached egg and hollandaise. The Old Bear does a cracking Sunday lunch. Come summer, you can eat outside.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 11am - 11pm

The Bear, Esher, Surrey. Enthusiastic and friendly staff. Food, good value for money.Review
The Old Bear was a lovely little pub opposite the river. We had a young child with us and they were very welcoming and helpful. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Would definitely go back.Review
THe Pub and its restraunt could do with an update. For example none of the chairs matched nor did the tables. But to counter this the food, whilst basic, was good and plentifull and the service plesent.Visitors
