About The Oak Room Restaurant
The Oak Room Restaurant is in Tylney Hall Hotel, Hook. This independently-owned country house is set in the wilds of Hampshire but is just 5 minutes from the M3, and the Grade II listed mansion makes a grand setting for some classy dining. The cosy, oak-panelled restaurant serves traditional English food with a modern spin, using carefully-sourced ingredients. Try roulade of salmon with crème fraiche and cucumber dressing, followed by pan-fried skate served with mango, avocado and chilli or breast of chicken with aubergine confit and thyme jus. There are open fires in winter and the restaurant does a great Sunday lunch.

An amazing experience. Expected to be shown straight to our table when we arrived. But no we sat in lovely stately sitting room, drink some champagne (paid). We were offered lots of lovely canapes. Checked the menu whilst relaxing and then showed to our table. The Oak room has a lovely atmoshere and the food was amazingReview
we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special to have a meal and we could not have chosen a better place. Tilney Hall is a very special hotel restaurant, from the minute you step into the place you are made to feel special. We had drinks on the terrace overlooking the gardens. The menu offered an excellent choice of haute cuisine. The different courses served were amazing in taste and looks. We had coffee in the lounge. it fell like a dinner party at a grand venuReview
Tylney Hall proved to be a wonderful venue, even on a wet day. Delightful restaurant, enjoyed a special 3 course menu as part of Hampshire Food Festival. Will definitely visit again.Visitors
