About The Montagu
Situated over Portman Square, The Montagu sits comfortably in the posh surroundings of the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. Like the Prime Minister of the same name, it’s also big on classic British favourites, making it much loved by not only guests of the hotel, but its neighbours as well. Try Loch Fyne mussels and clams or the most British of dishes, deep-fried cod and chips with homemade tartare sauce. Don’t miss beautifully done puds, including an apple tart with honeycomb ice cream. Beautiful afternoon teas are also available, perfect for taking in the tranquil views over the picturesque gardens.
Please be aware that bookings are not taken for breakfast. Also, between 3pm and 6pm every day afternoon tea is served.

The Montagu. fine dining room, food acceptable but nothing outstanding, attentive service

I went to the Montagu to celebrate my sister's birthday. We went at lunch time and found the restaurant half full. It would really help if this restaurant was listed on top table as being in the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The food is excellent, my vegetarian special was a sweet potatoe pancake filled with roasted vegetables and served with a mushroom stroganoff. the birthday girl had fish and chips which were perfection. A fab time was had by all and I would highly recommend it.Review
The Montagu. Booked for a birthday lunch on a Monday so was quiet, only 4 tables booked whilst we were there. The value was good but overall the quality of the food was not what I was led to believe from other patrons. probably won't go again.Visitors
