It's hard to beat The Mirror for intimate fine dining in Swansea. This candlelit 20-cover dining room resides in The Windsor Lodge, a charming Georgian family hotel in city centre - one of the few of its kind remaining. Antique bird-themed brown wallpaper, dark carpet, thick white linen and upholstered period chairs combine to create a memorable space ideal for dinner a deux. A neat, award-winning international menu is based on brilliant Welsh produce - particularly the country's famed lamb, and lava bread - and changes whenever the chef wants to try something different.
