About The Medway Bistro
The Medway is what you’d call a modern boutique restaurant; a cosy family-run affair next to Croxteth Country Park in a pretty village a few miles north of Liverpool city centre. Manager Kelly chirpily welcomes a good mix of local regulars who have yet to tire of the four-hour braised Welsh lamb in a red wine jus – a best seller among the classic bistro dishes. With Brazilian sirloin steak, and seabass fillet with basmati rice in a creamy baby spinach sauce a close second and third.

just to say we had a great night at the medway, west derby village, the food was excellent and the hospitality was great. all 4 of us couldnt fault our food whatsoever and the pudding was to die for!

We went on Valentines night. The atmospherere was spot on. The staff were great, pleasant and attentive, without being intrusive. Even the music set the tone perfectly. We had a lovely evening , and will come again

this is the 2nd time ive been to medway bistro and although i was dying to try the lamb the steak was so nice last time that i couldnt resist. the food is gorgeous and value for money is brilliant - £9.99 for 2 courses on a wed an thurs after 5pm. would highly recommend!Visitors
