About The Mad Moose Arms & 1 Up Restaurant
Totally transformed by a recent re-fit, The Mad Moose in Norwich is everything you’d want in a warm and friendly local, though this certainly isn’t your normal, run-of-the-mill bar. Walk in and on the ground floor you’ll find the laid back Mad Moose bar, serving up a good variety of drinks, ales, wines and the like. Just upstairs is the 1 Up Restaurant – a far cry from your usual pub grubbery, complete with neutral walls, rich wood, beautiful table settings and delicious modern British menu. Tuck into rump of English lamb, creamed white beans, Jerusalem artichokes, confit garlic wilted baby spinach and truffled herb jus.
Please note - this restaurant only accepts toptable bookings between 7pm and 10pm Monday to Saturday.Bookings of 10 or more diners must pre-order food.

The Mad Moose has got to be one of my favourite restaurants in Norwich - nice food and ambience, good wine list, just a shame it's away from the centre.

The Mad Moose Arms & 1 Up Restaurant This dinner was booked for an anniversary celebration and although we had visited once before 2 years ago, the restaurant has been refurbished and is very comfortable, with a pleasant ambiance.The food is excellent and the friendliness and hospitality of the staff is first class. A definite must for all visitors and residents in Norwich..Review
So pleased to find a good restaurant out of London on toptable. Great food, really different with great menu range. Was lovely to have a drink in the buzzy bar downstairs before leaving it all behind to head upstairs for a bit of sophisticated diniing.Visitors
