The Living Room - Newcastle. We turned up earlier than our booking, with one more person in tow and after a little juggling, they were happy to acommodate. The starters were fresh and tasty, I had wild mushrooms on toast which came in a lovely garlic cream sauce. The Prawn looked a delight. Our mains were a decent size and tasty. One down point was having to pay for sides of veggies - This irks me when you are eating in what is essentially a chain brasserie.

Our dining experience at the Living Room in Newcastle was very good. The food was delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable; the only downside was the fight through the very busy bar area to go to the toilet. Overall a great night, would highly recommend the Living Room and will definitely be dining there again.

Had a great meal here, and all four of us enjoyed the food. There was a wide selection of dishes, from traditional favourites (steak & ale pie) to more refined ones (suckling pig with apple chutney). My Moules Mariniere starter was fresh and tasty and the suckling pig was tender and tasty. The 2 bottles of Malbec were good value, too. And our young waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Will recommend this place to my friends.

This is the second time that we have visited The Living Room and it just gets better and better. Food is delicious and the service is really worth visiting for. We were waited on hand and foot and nothing is too much trouble. Food potion size is amlpe and the menu has something for everyone. Great service, great food and great chef and staff!!
