About The House - Altrincham
The House in Altrincham is your classic, family-run, ‘everyone’s treated like one of our own’ style restaurant. Serving mainly a modern British menu with hints of French influence, Adam, the head chef and owner, hand-picks the best from the local area to create regular daily specials, including a great selection of fresh fish. In fact, if there’s something in particular you fancy, be it Halibut to foie gras to a simple cod and chips, let the restaurant know beforehand and they’ll try to ensure you have it (subject to what’s available, of course). Next door is the newly-opened House Wine Bar, which features a modest selection of hand-picked wines. If only your house was like this.

The House was buzzing on Saturday night. Friendly staff, good ambience, must be one of the most popular places in the area. Excellent food and good value for money. Highly recommend.Review
A party of 11 of us dined at The House restaurant 28/7/7 and all really enjoyed the food. It was beautifully presented and we thought, very reasonably priced though we were on a special party menu due to the amount of us there. Unfortunately one of the red wines on the menu was not in stock at all and another type of wine ran out after we'd had 2 bottles! Service was generally good, though the drinks side of things were not always kept on top of. Will be returning though and would def recommend.Review
The loved our first visit to the House from the relaxed atmosphere in the wine bar to the warm ambiance in the restaurant. The food was varied with lots of choices and all the dishes we had were excellent from the chorizo and potato starter, chicken skewers, john dory to the lamb hotpot. No room for pud unfortunately, definately next time!!Visitors
