About The Groves Bistro
Getting lost is not an excuse that has any truck with diners at The Groves Bistro. Every tourist sign within the Chester walls points here, one of Chester's best locations, on the banks of the River Dee. When the weather's nice you can chill in the beer garden (heated at night). If not, grab a leather settee inside and share a plate of crispy chicken wings. The restaurant menu changes all the time, but you're likely to find steaks, lamb, duck and pasta dishes, salads and fish on there. Breakfast is served all day, while lunch is a set menu of over 40 choices. Basically, there's everything to like about The Groves Bistro.
Opening hours:

Very friendly and accomodating staff at The Groves Bistro, great location & good, well priced food. More of a bar than a restaurant.Review
The Groves Bistro is in a good location by the river but is quite noisy from the bar side.Review
The Groves Bistro gave more than value for money with the quantity of the starter (tomato and basil soup) possibly a little over facing. With two vegetarians in the party the choice was not extensive but chef was flexible and understanding. The meat fell off the lamb shank just as it should and the wine was reasonably priced. The waitresses were all extremely pleasant and attentive.Visitors
