If simply classic is your thing The Garden Restaurant at the imposing Bromley Court Hotel is undoubtedly your ideal dining spot. Don’t expect the mediocre at this hotel – The Garden Restaurant sets the scene with a light and spacious dining room as easily adapted to a romantic dinner a deux as a lengthy lunch with family or friends. On to the menu and it’s decisions, decisions. Will you choose the tried and tested favourites such as Grilled Dover Sole or Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection, or test the Chef’s talents by trying one of the kitchen’s more unusual but always delicious specials? Whichever dish takes your fancy there’s no doubt it’ll be clean plates all round.

Very disappointed. I had high expectations as we walked into the garden dining room which looked fantastic, but after being seated and subsequently waiting 10 minutes before we were asked whether we wanted a drink, the starters arrived and were overcooked and congealed, the roast pork meal consisted of one slice of pork and the crème brulee had a thick layer of brown sugar on it that had hardly seen a flame, I was unimpressed!Visitors
