Although we waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken things did pick up. I think quite a lot of the staff are temporarily working in the UK. One waiteress asked "What do you want?". However, the food was fantastic and the service did pick up. The menu is traditional British and there is a good selection to choose from. The Guinea Fowl was fantastic and Bread and Butter Pudding was out of this world. I would strongly recommend staying at the Grand Hotel and eating at Gainsborough.Review
