About The Forge
Opened in March 2007 Covent Garden’s The Forge is the brainchild of Robert Siegler (who owns local favourites Le Deuxieme and Le Café du Jardin) and Head Chef Andy Barber so expect great things. Hidden away among the many delights of central London The Forge is easily missed but once inside you’ll be greeted by elegance in bucketloads, from the intimate bar to the exposed brickwork and wide windows of the main dining area which gives a sophisticated but relaxed feel. The European food is as elegant as the space and manages to hit the mark with gorgeous flavours and imagination not to mention the choice of dish size, ideal for smaller appetites.

Due to the popularity of this restaurant, tables will only be held for 15 minutes, with regards to tables arriving late.Please be aware that there is a 2 hour turn around time on all pre-theatre bookings.

The £27.50 is good value if you have 3 courses. Not so good if you only have 2 - although they did throw in the coffee at £2.50 each. A bit rich for a filter coffee!

The Forge in Garrick Street is an attractive restaurant, well placed to LeicesterSq. We booked for 5pm for pre-theatre meal and by 6.30 the restaurant was nearly full. Plenty of attentive staff on duty, but could do with being a bit friendlier. Menu was a set price for 3 courses but you had to pay extra for vegetables as only a minimal (garnish) portion provided with the main course. Bit cheeky when paying £27.50 a head! Deserts were very good.Review
