About The Food Factory
One of the jazziest dining out experiences Essex has to offer, The Food Factory serves a wide range of fine British classics with a continental twist. A light and spacious restaurant taking influence in its décor from all things Mediterranean, the relaxed ambience of the surrounding Colchester Business Park and ample free parking make it the perfect place for a business meal, whilst evening entertainment adds spice to a newly designed menu consisting of solely the finest, freshest local produce. Expect service with a genuine smile, be your purpose for attending simply a cool drink, or to sample dishes such as smoked salmon and asparagus, pork and herb terrines or the baked field mushrooms.

Food at the Food Factory was very good and service speedy but not rushed.

The food factory was a bit disappointing. The service was average and the staff seemed to lack knowledge of the menu. My starter was only luke warm, as was my partners main course. There was a real lack of atmosphere as the restaurant was quiet for a friday evening. The menu was limited and the food was quite bland and overseasoned. My partner and I will not be returning.Review
The food factory is a nice restaurant on the business park. The lunch menu is a selection of paninis, baguettes and jacket potatoes with a variety of tasty fillings each around £5. The full menu also looked very nice although we haven't tried this yet. The staff are very friendly and we will definatly be back again.Visitors
