About The Exchange
The Westin Dublin's renovation of a former Allied Irish Bank is a grand 5-star affair overlooking Trinity College Green. A fine example of art deco elegance, the airy ground floor a la carte Exchange restaurant serves simple dishes of fresh A-grade Irish ingredients, with an international flavour. The Irish beef tenderloin with duck foie gras and morel sauce, Dover sole meuniere, and poached seabass come highly recommended. The Exchange is very un-hotel like for a hotel restaurant - it has an entrance and character of its own - a fact not lost on its many business diners. Sunday brunch is an ideal time to book a table. For €42.50 you get a limitless feast, glass of champagne, and first-hand experience of a Dublin institution.

The Exchange doesn't quite escape its status as a restaurant attached to a smart hotel. This accounts for the slightly chilly (in both senses) ambience, and the rather over-priced food. However, the quality is first class, there is a well chosen wine list with many affordable bottles, and the service is both charming and efficient.Review
Great reception choice of tables beautifully presented Dublin bay prawns in smoked haddock mash is a must and the pannacota and nut icecream with figs and a cup of chocolate was to die for ...I would recommend this a a top place to eat in DublinReview
The Exchange is a real star. Wonderful service and a good ambiance for a retaurant atatched to a hotel. Food was great. My girlfriend particularly loved the fois gras starter while my dover sole was beautiful (and boned for me at the table side). The crumble is also highly recommended. A great place for a treat.Visitors
