Duke's Head offered lovely food, very good drink (beers, cider and wine by the glass)Review
My first visit to the Dukes Head was impressive indeed. The food and service were first rate (as good as anything I have experianced before) and the open fire and relaxed atmoshere made for a very welcoming winter location. Although not cheap, the food was worth every penny and I look forward to returning soon to sample more delights from an impresive menu.Review
Our dining experience at The Duke's Head was a real pleasure and one that we will definitely be repeating very soon. The decor is simple and elegant, service attentive and helpful and the food is simply delicious. Cray fish risotto and moules starters, served with warm home-made bread, were mouth-watering and the main courses (steak and lamb shank) were cooked to perfection. No room for desert on this occasion but will try one next time. I would recommend this place to all food-lovers.Visitors
