About The Cuban - Citypoint
The Cuban restaurant in the heart of London is a mecca of bright colours, bold flavours and brilliant living – just like Cuba itself. Set in among fairly standard City office buildings, The Cuban is anything but standard. Stunning orange walls, huge photographic portraits, cool mahogany modern furniture, groovy white leather banquettes, tropical floral arrangements all come together in a lively venue with a buzzing bar. The Cuban menu includes juice-inducing dishes like starter of mussels steam in banana leaf with saffron butter, main course of rum-glazed baby back ribs with salad and homemade chips, and dessert of pudin de pan. There’s also a Cuban burger and authentic sides. And oh man, the drinks, including a long list of rums from across the globe. Great buzz, great place. Please note, bookings for today must be made before 5pm.

Review
The cuban is first and foremost a (cocktail) bar, not a restaurant. However, the food is tasy, and there are some nice dishes. While we were seated in the 'restaurant', by 8pm we were surrounded by loud groups of drinkers. Then the live entertainment began, which was, well, terrible! 2 people accompanied by a midi backing track and some bongos! Food is overpriced, but I did enjoy my chicken and chorizo paella. If you like Spanish food, then it's worth checking out., just don't expect too much.

The food was great but it took an hour to get our main course as the waitress forgot to put our order through and then her shidt ended. The waitress who have just started did handle the situation well. The music was really good but very loud adnd you cannot have a conversation without shouting! I would go again but not with people who are wanting to chat!Review
Second time we have eaten here and food is always good and the Tapas was particularly tasty. We dined early evening and the restaurant was nearly empty so the ambience wasn't particularly good but I'm sure we will eat here again. It is good to note that the chairs were just the right heightVisitors
