About The Conservatory and Anglers Bar
Occupying a bright open space between reception and the water's edge, The Conservatory and Anglers Bar is the more leisurely of the eating areas at The Runnymede, a 4-star hotel on a picturesque weir on the River Thames, near Windsor. With so many sofas and an easygoing snacks and salads menu, it's very popular for informal meetings - business and personal. The Conservatory's big sandwiches sell best, especially the award-winning prawn and mango triple-decker, £10,25, and BMT (bacon, mozzarella, tomato), £8.25 - great with a side order of fries. Caiprhinas, Raspberry Cosmos and Classic Champagne cocktails go down well in the evenings and at weekends. There's live piano music every Sunday.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun 8am - 11pm

Excellent value for money. £10 per person was right for the amount of sandwiches and cakes. Shame they don't offer refills on sandwiches but then they would have to charge more. Service was top notch. We sat in the conservatory above heating grates - perfect for a cold winters day. Hope to go back very soon.Review
Had afternoon tea at The Anglers Bar and Conservatory at The Runnymede Hotel. Typical traditional afternoon tea and plenty of it, selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, fruit scones with clotted cream and unlimited tea and coffee. Fantastic location directly overlooking the Thames and Bell Weir Lock. You can sit outside, weather permitting to watch the boats go by. Polite, efficient service and loads of parkingReview
Excellent value with the offer of £20 per couple for afternoon tea at The Conservatory. It wasn't the Ritz but it wasn't a bad substitute either. Food was fresh and tasty, good coffee and good service.Visitors
