About The Brasserie at One Great George Street
A contemporary brasserie near St James' Park that you really must try for yourself. The setting is very stylish with the brasserie being housed in the magnificent four-domed Edwardian One Great George Street building This modern, relaxed eaterie really does attract a great cross section of the great and good near Westminster, from tourists to movers and shakers. The menu is a delicious Modern European which changes seasonally and to which are added daily specials. Try to start the marinated queen scallops, with honey, lime, chilli, cucumber and noodles, next the seared beef tournedos with pan-fried foie gras, bone marrow and bordelaise jus. Then to finish don’t go past the chocolate mocha tart with espresso ice cream. Vegetarians are well catered for there's a loyalty scheme to tempt you back again and again.
Opening hours:
Mon - Fri 12pm - 2.30pm Closed evenings and weekends

Good value for money, simple food well cooked. Service started off well, but one waiter seemed like he did not want to be there and served 2 main courses to 1 person without blinking an eyelid.Review
The Brasserie is a really good, calm, business lunch setting. Food pretty good, service excellent and unobtrusiveReview
It's a bit sterile - not much in the way of decor and it was fairly empty (Wednesday lunchtime) but the food and service were very good and reasonably pricedVisitors
