About The Beacon
The Beacon bar and restaurant is in Rusthall, near Tunbridge Wells, and has what must be some of the most fabulous views of any pub in England. You can sit outside in summer and gaze over the green hills of Kent, while enjoying anything from a bowl of home-made soup to a three-course meal. Start with goat’s cheese, tomato and red onion bruschetta with red pepper hummus, then dig in to rump of lamb on a tomato and Bayonne ham Provençale vegetables, topped with crispy sweet potato shavings. Throw in the raspberry pannacotta and even the most Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells would be a happy chappy.
Opening hours:
Mon – Sat: 12pm - 3pm & 6:30pm - 11pmSun: 12pm – 10:30pm

Pleasant sums it up really, a nice venue that probably benefits more in the summer than it does in the winter. An Interesting menu that is delivered well. Restaurant could do with something to add to the ambience but I’m not sure what. However I would go back and I would suggest it to othersReview
the beacon staff were very pleasant and helpful.fishcakes as a main course were good.my wife enjoyed her pork(plenty of it as well) but we were surprised to be charged extra (£3) for the crackling.total price, however, of meal and drinks quite reasonable.Review
Beautiful location and the food is excellent value for money. My friend and I were late and they were flexible.Visitors
