About The Barn Pub and Grill Restaurant
Housed in a lovely Kentish building on a private road, The Barn Pub and Grill is as characterful as it sounds. The barn-life theme spreads enticingly throughout the wood-beamed premises so that both the main bar and grill restaurant have original rustic tables and chairs surrounded by antiques and other ‘country’ nick knacks. A log fire welcomes you in winter, while the award-winning garden and terrace tempt in summer.
The menu is an evolving one but is primarily based on superb grills, including great steaks - cut from prime mature British beef – and Mediterranean specialities including fresh pasta, proper Italian pizza with terrific toppings and superb homemade American style steak burgers
Opening hours:
Mon - Sun: 12pm - 3pm & 6pm - 10pm

The food at the The Barn Pub & Grill was good and represented good value. The service was excellent. They also dealt with a particularly awkward rude customer very well.Review
After reading the reviews about the Barn I thought we should pay it a visit. I'm not sure if it was the same restaurant as others had been to but I couldn't reconcile their comments with my experience. We went for the set menu - good value at £8.75 for two courses - but it was all very average. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wanted a particularly nice meal. May be okay for lunch.Review
Arrived at the beautiful old barn, & was seated upstairs in the very contempory/old charmed restaurant. Opted for the deep fried brie for starters, which was simply the best I've ever had. This was followed by what was meant to be a rack of lamb, but turned out to be a 1lb+ shoulder of mouthwatering delight. Far too much, but well worth the £10.75. Superfast/friendly service. I think McDonalds could learn a thing or 2 from these speedy waiting staff. Very nice ambiance & highly recommendedVisitors
