About Thai Square - Sevenoaks
Thai Square restaurant in Sevenoaks is the newest sibling of the long established Thai Square chain in London, a company recently awarded the title of Best Thai Restaurants in the UK by the Prime Minister of Thailand Award. Authenticity is paramount with ingredients flown in daily from Thailand and restaurant décor revolving around both modern and traditional Thai artefacts. Thai Square’s cuisine takes its cues from ideas new and old, often adding an invigorating kick of chilli here and there. Diners with a more cautious palette will be pleased to know staff are happy to offer milder but equally enticing alternatives to the restaurant’s spicier dishes.

As a party of 8 near Christmas we were encouraged to go for the set menu, which we did although it seemed very over priced at £40 per head! The food was excellent however I'd be very reluctant to go back in a group again. Bill came to £65 per person and that was only with 2 bottles of wine (again over priced) and 8 beers?

The Thai Square was unfortunately not what we were expecting. The clientele were our age (late 20's) & the atmosphere was good but ruined by a private party in the bar area with a gang of teenagers & banging dance music that was so loud that we had to shout to be heard (& we were at the back of the restaurant!). The food was OK but at £30/head the set menu was well over priced. Portions were OK but with one bottle of wine the bill was £220 for 4, more like top London prices for an average mealVisitors
