Traditionally, at a Thai meal, each guest is served with a plate, a fork and a spoon. Each guest would take a serving of one dish and after eating, move onto the next dish. It is traditional for guests to freely share the dishes on the table. How you combine the array of contrasting flavours is entirely up to you.
