Terranea is part of the Holiday Inn Camden Lock, which has a rather good location overlooking Canal Bridge opposite Stables Markets. Not that you can see the water from the restaurant, alas. The space divides naturally in two – the so-called ‘glasshouse’ side which opens just for dinner. And the buffet level, where groups naturally gather. Uniting them is freshness borne from bright white walls, greenery, polished dark wood floors, and subtle green lighting echoed in the green wine glasses dressing the tables. The elaborate menu travels across the world, from Britain via Europe to Asia, listing steaks, curries, pasta dishes, salads, as well as specials and kids’ meals. For diners here are typically a mix of tourist families and corporate hotel guests.
