About Temptation
Temptation restaurant in Ruislip has chosen exactly the right name for its brand of superb Indian cuisine, fine décor and delightful dining experience. The polished, modern interior featuring pale walls, very cool marble bar, dark wood tables and chocolate leather seating, sets the tone for an evening of enjoyment. Naveen Sahni and his team, with bags of experience in some of the great kitchens of India, London and France, here take high-quality ingredients to create an unusual Indian cuisine based in Indian kebab cooking and curries. Signature dishes include dahi bhalla papri chaat, or lentil fritters with yoghurt and coriander chutney, Temptation’s own chicken tikka masala, and Indian streetside favourite dhaba murg. Thoughtful wine list, cheery service, Sunday brunch.
Opening hours:

Temptation was empty when we had Lunch on a Sunday. It was difficult to judge the ambience under the circumstances. The establishment is certainly modern in its décor and all looked immaculately clean. I wanted to have the £10.95 lunch special but they said it was not available, and the menus were being reprinted. The service was good but the food was only average, my partner’s Chicken Korma being watery in the extreme with no real taste at all. The actual chicken was OK though. My Rara Gosht was reasonably tasty and the meat quite acceptable although not really value at £7.45, similarly the Bombay aloo acceptable, but, £4.45 is too much for this dish under these circumstances. Again, plain Nan, good, but at £2.45 a little expensive. I generally felt the food adequate but nothing special, a triumph of presentation over substance. I feel there are better establishments in the area.Review
Lunch at Temptation was a very quiet affair but the food was as good as it is in the evening. The cuisine is modern Indian with some unusual flavour combinations, which all work well. The decor and whole dining experience is lovely and good value as well. Certainly worth a trip out to Ruislip!Review
Being Vegetarian, I was disappointed about the food. Starts and main both. Had Paneerand Aloo Tikki (ok). Main Makhni Daal was not cooked, Mush Veg not good. They did serve Tarka dal, but was not impressed. There were hardly 2 tables booked for a Friday pm.Visitors
