About Tante Louise
In the heart of the magnificent boulevard district of Paris, rubbing shoulders with the grand Place de la Concorde and Galeries Lafayettes, Tante Louise has successfully nurtured the tradition of bourgeois cuisine. The dining room is vintage 1930's decor. There's a low-ceilinged mezzanine level from which you can observe the well-dressed clientele below. The hearty Burgundian menu is under the very able direction of Stephane Schermully, and dishes may include starter of foie gras de canard pan-fried with grapes, main course of signature fillet of sole on finely-chopped mushrooms, and pudding of tarte tatin of figs with balsamic vinegar sauce. Fine burgundies and professional service.

We had a very pleasant NY's Eve at Tante Louise. The first 2 courses were top class the second 2 good and the desserts pretty average..You get generous portions of authentic regional cooking,unfussy service - overall good value.Review
Tante Louise excellent. Very cordial reception. Good menu with sensible choices, incl. beef, lamb, veal and fish dishes. Service was faultless. So pleased we went again 48 hrs later. There is a Menu at 40euros with very acceptable choices and if a whole bottle is not required, there are good house wines en carafe. It gave the impressiion of a nice place , run by nice people. A good warm feel. Interesting to note that it apeared to be quite full on both the Monday and Wednesday evening.Review
Tante Louise is a fine little restaurant, very intimate, reasonably quiet and excellent for a little romantic meal with your girlfriend or wife. Food is really good and they have an excellent wine list to match. Try the Tante Louise Traditions - a range of starters and main meals which are just great - the foie gras are to die for.Visitors
