About Superstar ExCeL Chinese Restaurant
SuperStar ExCel Chinese Restaurant is a warehouse conversion at Royal Victoria Docks, at the West entrance of ExCel London (funny that!). So, if you’re in the area and in the mood for a spot of Chinese food, take an upholstered chair in this smart restaurant. It’s quite masculine inside with dark wood floors and pillars, softened with spot lighting and vases of fresh flowers lining the bar. Dim sum is served daily until 5pm, but there are plenty more substantial dishes to choose from such as starters of seaspice squid, and crisply lobster parcels, and mains like shredded beef with asparagus and pepper sauce, and lobster with ginger and spring onion. Diners are typically a mix of exhibitors and local residents. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Polite service.
Please be aware that SuperStar ExCeL Chinese Restaurant requests that cancellations are received at least 3 hours prior to your booking. Groups of more than 20 people may be required to give a non-refundable deposit.This restaurant does not take bookings at the weekend.

We had dim sum there on a weekend. The food was pretty good and excellant value with the 50% off on a list of dim sum. However, the waiter was quite rude when we tried to order some more dim sum and lectured us we need to order everything in one go.

I booked a private room with karaoke for a group of friends and I must say, it was very enjoyable. I have booked here several times now and it has not disappointed so far. The restaurant itself is a little too quiet for a Saturday but the food is good, the service is fair so I would recommend a visit.Review
Went to Superstar for Dim-Sum, they had a half price menu which had quite alot of choice and it was really cheap. Food was quite nice, great value for money.Visitors
