Perfect for after-work cocktails, business lunches and celebrations of the pay-rise kind, Striped Bass is a seafood-and-champagne mecca that is popular with Glaswegian fashionistas and their suited and booted banker boyfriends. With cherry red sofas, white leather banquettes and parquet floors, Striped Bass prides itself on its fresh and simply served fish – and we love the Loch Fyne rock oysters with shallot and red wine vinegar dressing; and the monkfish fillet wrapped in Parma ham on a bed of mushy peas with lemon and chive butter.
