About Strand Carvery
The centre of London’s thriving Theatreland is probably not the first place you’d expect to find a good, old fashioned carvery. But then, there’s nothing old fashioned about the Strand Palace Hotel, home to the Strand Carvery. With warm, contemporary tones throughout and up to the minute furnishings, the Strand Carvery is nothing like the worn old diners that your grandparents frequent. With a selection of European a la carte dishes, the menu is ideal for any occasion. But it is, of course, the carvery that impresses – with a cold buffet selection followed by a selection of joints from beef to gammon plus all the trimmings not to mention real comfort food puddings including spotted dick and apple crumble.

The staff at The Carvery were truly the winning factor at this place, fantastic! It was pretty quiet when we were there even though it was peak time which detracted from the ambiance some what but that was made up for by the attentive staff. We had the carvery which was quite good and more than plentiful (offered second helpings!) It could well be the place to go if you have a craving for carvery roast dinner on the weekdays.Review
We found the Strand Carvery to be excellent value for money. We had booked a table but it was quiet and the service was efficent but unobtrusive. Portions were a good size ~ especially the puddings!Review
Strand Carvery. For a party of 7 this allowed an economical meal in quiet surroundings so we could all hear the others talk. Carvery and cold buffet (fishy) is my kind of food. For me the Carvery is a real find and will be returning. The Summer Menu is great vfm.Visitors
