About Strada - Kingston-Upon-Thames
One of the newest additions to this perennially popular chain of modern Italian restaurants, Strada Kingston occupies two floors of a grand listed building near (though not on) the Thames. The main Strada ingredients are all here – a buzz, dark wood tables, burgundy banquette seating, friendly staff, quality fish, meat, pasta, veggie dishes and scrummy big wood-fired pizzas, good wine list – but this time in a large, tall-ceilinged space filled with sunlight flooding in through big windows. What makes this branch different to most of the others is its bar, reached by stairs enclosed beneath a gleaming glass conservatory at the entrance. It's up here that locals like to make the most of the relaxed vibe with great cocktails.
Please note on Fridays this restaurant only accepts bookings of 7 or more covers.
Opening hours:
Mon - Sat 12pm - 11pmSun 12pm - 10:30pm

Food is always great at Strada. Food cold this time, but this is unusual.Review
I booked Strada in Kingston for a friend's birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night and as with large groups people arrived late and there were various requests such as a sepereate drinks bill and whether we could bring our own birthday cake - but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were friendly and very attentvie despite the restaurant being full. The food was delicious and the ambience of the old town hall adds something special. Everyone had a great time!Review
Food was excellent but service could be better especially on a Friday evening that was not that busy.Visitors
