About St Benedict's Restaurant
St Benedict's is an authentic French bistro in Norwich's quirky St Benedict's Street. Friendly and relaxed, the dining room attracts Francophiles and fashionistas alike, and is perfect for an indulgent late-night meal, post-shopping pick-me-up or a chic chocolat chaud with friends. We love the slow-cooked crispy duck with braised chicory balsamic reduction and grilled naval orange and the double baked cheese souffle. St Benedict's warm, Van-Gogh-esque navy and yellow interior, sensational wine list and fantastically French waiting staff will transport you across the channel before you can say steak frites.
Opening hours:

St Benedict's Restaurant one of 4 restaurants owned by the same management in Norwich. Must have done somthing right. Menu not daunting and easy to understand with help freely given. Not thrown by our request of cheese sourse. Venison bit overcooked and dry same with loin of lamb but made up for by service freindlyness. Will def go again. Ambience - can be as romantic as you want or can cater for party without intrusion to romantics. Thouroghly enjoyed and would reccomend.Review
St Benedict's Restaurant is of a good class and uses quality ingredients to produce fine meals. When Rose & myself visited we enjoyed langoustine and deep-fried goat's cheese in filo pastry as our starters - both excellent. We moved on to crispy duck (very slightly overcooked although I had asked for 'well done') and lamb chops - both tasty with interesting choices for vegetables. Dessert - caramelised nectarines and local cheeses (too few buscuits though) - were woofed down. A good evening!Review
The food at St Benedict's Restaurant was very good and the waiters were attentive. My only criticism was that 3 out of the 4 starters arrived together but the 4th was a few minutes later.Visitors
